New member of the PILOT SPORT family, with race bred DNA, exceptional handling, and new mileage breakthroughs for both electric and gasoline vehicles. MaxTouch construction technology increases contact area and evenly distributes stress from acceleration, braking and cornering for more lasting safety performance. Fifth generation asymmetric tread design with wider longitudinal grooves effectively channels water to wider lateral grooves for efficient drainage, delivering excellent braking performance on both dry and wet roads. Instant response technology with high strength polyamide and nylon composite cap layer enables precise and rapid transmission of steering input to the tire. Innovative dual tread compound technology delivers both safety and energy efficiency, effectively reducing energy loss during driving. Under the same road conditions, electric vehicles achieve longer range per charge, while gasoline vehicles save more fuel on long trips. PILOT SPORT 5E offers approximately 38 km more range per full charge compared to PILOT SPORT 5, and approximately 18 km more mileage per full tank compared to PILOT SPORT 5.
